Environmental Impact

I’ve heard negative things about the environmental impact of cryptocurrency and NFTs. How are you addressing that?

We are cognizant of the environmental impact of blockchains and are working to reduce our footprint. As a first step, we are using the Enjin token standard (ERC-1155) on Ethereum, which results in an 80-90% reduction in energy usage at mint from other tokens.

We are also using Polygon as a cheaper and more energy-efficient "Layer 2" solution for non-collectible, unlimited license game sales on the platform. Polygon already uses Proof of Stake consensus. This approach saves money, energy, and time.
